Handling of Personal Information

CHIRAKU — Established: October 20, 2026

Fuji Bit Inc. ("we") handles information in the mobile application "CHIRAKU" (the "App") in compliance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (the "APPI") and other applicable laws, as described below. This page organizes the contents of our Privacy Policy by type of information.

The App has no account registration or sign-in and no fields for entering personal information. It does not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, precise location (GPS), contacts or photos. We do not operate any servers, and we do not collect or store your information on servers of our own. The only things the App stores on your device are your theme setting and your personalized-ads choice.

However, to keep the App free, it includes the SDK (PAG SDK) of the advertising service "Pangle", and this SDK sends personally related information such as advertising identifiers, IP address and device information to Pangle. The details are described below.

Simulation progress, speed and similar settings are kept only temporarily on your device and are discarded when the App closes. We do not handle information beyond what is necessary for the purposes above.

3. Provision to third parties

We do not sell your information. As shown above, Pangle (operated by Bytedance Pte. Ltd.) obtains information directly through the SDK built into the App, to the extent necessary to deliver ads. We do not receive this information. Personal information received through inquiries is never provided to third parties. Except as required by law, we do not provide information to any other third party.

4. Provision to third parties in foreign countries

When you use the App, the advertising information listed in section 2 is sent to the following business outside Japan (APPI Articles 28 and 31).

Personal information protection systems in the recipient's countries

  • Singapore: the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), administered by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
  • United States: there is no comprehensive federal privacy law; personal information is protected by sector-specific federal laws and by state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act.

For details of each country's system, see the "Survey of Personal Information Protection Systems in Foreign Countries" published on the website of Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission (https://www.ppc.go.jp/en/). The measures the recipient takes to protect personal information are described in the Pangle Privacy Policy linked above.

5. How to stop information from being sent

Tracking (iOS): In the iOS tracking permission dialog (App Tracking Transparency) shown after launch — the ad SDK does not start until you answer — choose "Ask App Not to Track". The IDFA will not be used and non-personalized ads will be shown. You can change this later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Personalized ads (iOS): Choose "Don't allow" under "About this app" > "Ad settings" in the App to turn off personalized ads even if tracking is allowed (allowed by default).

Personalized ads (Android): On first launch, before the ad SDK starts, the App asks whether ads may be personalized. Choose "Don't allow" to see non-personalized ads. The ad SDK does not start, and nothing is sent to Pangle, until you answer. You can change your choice at any time under "About this app" > "Ad settings". The choice is stored only on your device and is excluded from Android backups and device-to-device transfer, so a new device will ask again.

Advertising ID (Android): You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads (or Settings > Google > Ads, depending on the device).

All transmission: Once you uninstall the App, nothing more is sent.

6. Security measures

We minimize the risk of leaks by not storing your information on any server. The only data stored on your device are your theme setting and your personalized-ads choice, and neither is sent anywhere. We use the official ad SDK obtained from a trusted source and keep it up to date. Inquiry emails are kept in an email account with restricted access. We also take necessary measures, such as access restrictions, for the devices and accounts used to develop and operate the App. Because information is sent to a business outside Japan, we handle it with an understanding of the personal information protection system of that country (see section 4).

7. Retention period

  • Data on your device (theme setting and personalized-ads choice): deleted when you uninstall the App.
  • Information obtained by Pangle: retained for the period set out in the Pangle Privacy Policy.
  • Personal information received through inquiries: deleted once the inquiry is resolved and no longer needed.

8. Requests for disclosure, correction, deletion or suspension of use

The only personal data we hold is what we receive through inquiries. To request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure (including records of provision to third parties), correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure or suspension of provision to third parties, please email the contact below with the subject "Personal information request". After confirming that the request comes from the email address you used to contact us, we will respond without delay in accordance with the law, in principle by email. There is no fee.

We do not hold information obtained by Pangle and therefore cannot disclose or delete it; please contact Pangle through the contact listed in the Pangle Privacy Policy. You can stop the use of advertising identifiers at any time by the methods in section 5.
